PRO-Future announces a second public call for applications: associations of war victims, churches and religious communities, as well as non-governmental organizations focused on promoting inter-religious dialogue and committees for inter-religious cooperation.
Areas
Project proposals must relate to peace building and confidence building in BiH. Funding, ie small grants, will be made available for areas / activities / initiatives in the sequel.
Small Grants to Support the Victims’ Associations
- Grant Amount
- The total financial value earmarked for project support is BAM 24,500.00.
- Application Conditions
- Organizations of victims of war from BiH that have been established according to valid ones can apply at the Public Invitation laws on associations and foundations that will implement activities in the area of one of the Local communities where the PRO-Future project is being implemented.
- Priority will be given to project proposals from organizations that are primarily focused on strengthening their own capacities for the purpose of more effective advocacy processes and engaging political leaders from their communities, as well as representatives of war victims organizations from other communities. Advocates activities should aim to promote the adoption of the Peace Platform at all levels authorities.
- Project proposals should:
- include activities that exclusively promote and encourage reconciliation, such as: dialogue, joint reconciliation workshops or joint reconciliation activities;
- involve different ethnic / national groups in the implementation of the activities;
- be of benefit to the wider community;
- mobilize community members through volunteer work;
- consider the proper and responsible use of natural, cultural, historical or any other tangible and intangible resources;
- be implemented in the territory of one or more local communities involved in the PRO-Future project, the fact that project activities can be implemented in cooperation with local communities that are not part of the PRO-Future of the project.
Small grants for inter-religious dialogue
- Grant Amount
- The total financial value earmarked to support inter religious dialogue projects is 40.000,00 BAM.
- Application Procedures
- The following may apply to the Public Invitation: Churches and Religious Communities, and civil society organizations which engage in inter-religious dialogue from the PRO-Future of Local Communities.
- Project proposals should:
- include activities that exclusively promote and encourage reconciliation, such as: dialogue, joint reconciliation workshops or joint reconciliation activities;
- involve different religious groups in the implementation of the activities;
- engage in promoting inter-religious dialogue;
- be of benefit to the wider community;
- mobilize community members through volunteer work;
- Consider the proper and responsible use of natural, cultural, historical or any other tangible and intangible resources;
- be implemented in the territory of one or more local communities involved in the PRO-Future project, the fact that project activities can be implemented in cooperation with local communities that are not part of the PRO-Future of the project.
Small grants to Inter-Religious Cooperation / Cooperation Committees
- Grant Amount
- The total financial value earmarked for project support is BAM 25,000.00
- Application Procedures
- Public Invitations may be submitted by: Committees for Inter religious Cooperation / Cooperation (OMS).
- Project proposals should:
- include activities that exclusively promote and encourage reconciliation, such as: dialogue, joint reconciliation workshops or joint reconciliation activities;
- involve different religious groups in the implementation of the activities;
- engage in promoting inter-religious dialogue;
- be of benefit to the wider community;
- mobilize community members through volunteer work;
- Consider the proper and responsible use of natural, cultural, historical or any other tangible and intangible resources;
- be implemented in the territory of the OMS and / or one or more local communities involved in PRO-Future project, but the project activities can be implemented in cooperation with local communities which are not part of the PRO-Future of the project.
Applicants are expected to create their ideas and proposals in accordance with the Platform for Peace, which is the result of the intensive and long-lasting work of the PRO-Future project in local communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
