The Kalulushi Municipal Council is inviting applications for the Secondary School Boarding fees and skills training bursary under the 2026 Constituency Development Fund.
Eligibility Criteria
- Secondary Boarding Schools Bursary
- Eligibility for accessing the Funds for Secondary Boarding Schools is as follows:
- A learner must be enrolled at a particular Boarding school;
- A learner must be a resident of the Constituency in which the fund is sitting;
- A learner must have qualified to Grade 8 or already enrolled in Grade 9 to 12;
- School Drop-Outs who failed to pay school fees shall be eligible for bursary;
- Learners that are Enrolled in Boarding School but are accommodated in the Nearby Villages due to Failure to Pay Boarding Fees;
- Double orphaned where the guardian has no reliable source of income
- Single orphaned where the surviving parent has no reliable source of income;
- A learner with disability;
- Learners whose parents are disabled and have no reliable source of income;
- Learners whose parents or guardians have no reliable source of income;
- Learners on the school re-entry project without family support;
- A learner from a poor, vulnerable and incapacitated household according to the set criteria.

- Eligibility for accessing the funds for skills development is as follows:
- A person must be a Zambian citizen with a green national registration card, resident in the constituency;
- The applicant must be a resident of the constituency for more than 6 months;
- The applicant must be in possession of an admission or acceptance letter from any of the public tevet accredited institutions, the Zambia national service or former ZCCM owned institutions
- The applicant must be aged between 16 and below 35 years;
- Entrepreneurs out of school that need up-skilling and re-skilling.

- Supporting documents for secondary boarding schools are:
- The application form shall be submitted with a letter of acceptance to a public boarding school and any of the following certified documents
- Death certificate or burial permit of parents, guardian or letter from the traditional leadership confirming the death of parents
- Disability card or letter from the hospital denoting disability
- Recommendation letters from the church/civic leader/head of previous school
- Recommendation or assessment report from the school guidance teacher;
- Recommendation from the community welfare assistant’s committee.

- The application for skills training bursary shall be submmitted with an admission or acceptance letter from any of the public tevet accredited institutions, the Zambia national service or former ZCCM owned institutions and any of the following certified documents:
- Disability card or letter from the hospital denoting disability
- Recommendation letters form the church/civic leader/head of previous school
- Where applicable, the applicant must be in possession of a full grade 12 school certificate or gce with five (5) o-levels or equivalent or grade 9 or 7 certificates
- The application for skills training bursary shall be submmitted with an admission or acceptance letter from any of the public tevet accredited institutions, the Zambia national service or former ZCCM owned institutions and any of the following certified documents:
