The SBI Foundation is inviting proposals from NGOs/NPOs for implementing primary healthcare projects.
SBIF intends to engage non-profit organisations registered in India for implementing projects in the thematic area of primary healthcare through its model in healthcare. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to invite potential grantees with a proven track record to implement projects in the aforementioned thematic area during the current financial year FY of 2024-25.
Scope
- The proposed projects under SBI- Sanjeevani should focus on one of the below-mentioned thematic areas and must broadly follow the framework as mentioned below:
- Thematic area: Providing quality primary healthcare services to the most underserved/unserved areas.
Funding Information
- The proposed budget for the proposal should be in the range of Rs.95.00 Lakh to Rs.4.75 Crore for a period of 15 months.
Framework of SBI-Sanjeevani
- Obtaining necessary approvals from the local health department.
- Office set up in the selected project area.
- Purchasing mobile medical/ medical equipment, branding & fabrication of van.
- Recruitment of medical team.
- Health profiling of the selected villages.
- Maintaining the patient data physically/digitally.
- OPDs will be conducted in selected villages (As per the journey cycle plan)
- In referral cases the medical team will ensure the follow-up treatment of the patient either in nearby PHC or hospitals.
- Community awareness sessions will be conducted on a monthly basis on various health topics
- Specialized health check-up camps will be conducted every quarter.
- Waste Management/Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Initiatives will be conducted quarterly.
- Process documentation and periodic submission of consolidated reports.
- Final evaluation/Impact assessment report.
- Partner organizations applying for a project in the above mentioned thematic area must follow the broad framework for SBIF Jivanam – Sanjeevani.
Eligibility Criteria
- The NGO should have a minimum 3 years of registration.
- The NGO should have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the proposed state.
- The NGOs having demonstrated capability to improve measurable outcomes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the intervention.
- The Agency should have previous experience of executing projects in provision of primary healthcare services in remote areas.
Ineligible
- The Agency shall be rejected if:
- Annual revenue of the organisation for a cumulative of the last 3 years is less than 5 Crores
- It has political or religious associations
- Does not have the due diligence documents mentioned in Annexure II
- The number of board members is less than 3
- The number of permanent employees is less than 5
- The individual donors are among the top 3 donors
