The Civilian Research and Development Foundation Global on behalf of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation Office of Cooperative Threat Reduction is pleased to announce an opportunity for Ukrainian scientists, technicians, and engineers (STEs) seeking support to publish scientific articles in peer-reviewed international journals.
This opportunity will contribute to the professional development and recognition of STEs, enable them to build a strong publication record, and expand their professional opportunities.
Funding Information
- Travel support of up to $2,500 is available for approved applications.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants and all co-authors must be Ukrainian nationals.
- Applicants must hold a PhD at the time of application submission.
- Applicants must have experience within the fields of aeronautics, artificial intelligence, materials science, nuclear science or quantum.
- The focus of research to be published must be civilian in nature.
Application Requirements
- Completed application (only one application should be submitted regardless of the number of authors).
- Only one publication grant will be awarded regardless of the number of authors.
- Official Letter of Confirmation from the Scientific Journal which indicates that the article is aligned with all the policies and procedures, relevant to the scope and focus of the scientific journal/platform and presents original research or novel findings that contribute to scientific knowledge and scientific community.
- Official Notice or Letter of Acceptance stating that the article is accepted.
- Invoice for Article Publishing Charge (if available).
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) for all authors of the publication.
