The U.S. Mission to Luxembourg is pleased to announce its call for Advancing Shared Values Program.
The Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg announces an open competition for organizations to submit Statements of Interest (SOI) to carry out programs strengthening bilateral ties between the United States and Luxembourg on Advancing Shared Values.

Eligible Projects
- The U.S. Embassy Luxembourg invites proposals from non-governmental organizations, think tanks, government institutions, academic institutions, and individuals for programs strengthening the bilateral ties between the United States and Luxembourg and Advancing Shared Values, including, but not limited to:
- Programs that promote the values that underpin the U.S.-Luxembourg alliance, including but not limited to democracy, human rights, freedom of speech, and gender equality.
- Projects that highlight and advance women’s leadership and participation in entrepreneurship, innovation, business, the arts, and sports.
- Programs bolstering access to higher education and STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) for women, people of color, individuals with disabilities and other underserved communities.
- Projects that share the richness and diversity of American culture with the Luxembourgish public and promote cultural dialogue and people-to-people ties between the United States and Luxembourg.
Eligibility Criteria
- The following organizations are eligible to apply:
- U.S. or Luxembourgish not-for-profit, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations.
- Public and private educational institutions.
- Public international organizations and governmental institutions.
- Individuals (If applying as an individual, you must include in your application an explanation of why you are uniquely qualified as an individual applicant.) U.S. organizations applying for funding must partner with a Luxembourgish organization.
