Rheumatic heart disease (RHD) Action is currently accepting proposals for its small grant programme to support groups across the globe who are already addressing the problems of the rheumatic heart disease in their countries, regions or communities and to bring the work of key RHD stakeholders under the RHD Action banner.
RHD Action was formed by the World Heart Federation and RhEACH, with demonstration projects led by Case Western University in Uganda and Touch Foundation in Tanzania with the leadership and support of Medtronic Foundation.

Funding Information
- An amount of US$2,000 is available to fund each successful application.
- Starting no later than 1 August (and ending within 6 months of start date).
Eligibility Criteria
- Local RHD champions across the world whose project activity will take place in a Low- or Middle- income Country (as defined by the World Bank).
- Recipients of the grants may be organizations, or in exceptional circumstances, individuals. (Current RHD Action demonstration country partners are not eligible to apply.)
