And do you want to cooperate in a public-private partnership in order to contribute to sustainable development goals (Sustainable Development Goals) in developing countries? If yes, then apply for SDGP to get support for your project.
With the SDG Partnership Facility (SDGP), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with RVO.nl as the executor, aims to contribute to the achievement of various sustainable development goals (SDGs) in developing countries.
The first opening (call) focuses on improving food security and stimulating private sector development in developing countries through public-private partnerships (PPPs).
Goals
Joint initiatives of public-private partnerships (PPPs) may be eligible for support. Applicant’s initiative contributes to one or more of the following goals:
- reducing malnutrition;
- promoting growth in the agricultural and fisheries sector;
- the emergence of ecologically responsible and sustainable food chains;
- creating better working conditions and efficient working methods;
- increase in private investments.
Themes
In the first call, PPPs can submit project proposals with one of the following themes:
- Efficient value chains
- Nutritional value
- Circular economy agrosector
- Better work and income for young people and women
Budget Information
The available budget for the first opening is € 35 million. For each project applicants can apply for a subsidy of at least € 500,000 and a maximum of € 3 million.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant’s PPP consists of a maximum of 6 partners of which at least 1 Dutch organization, 1 local organization, 1 NGO or knowledge institution, 1 company and 1 government organization. The preference is for a local government organization.
Program Phases
The SDGP program consists of 3 phases that can follow each other:
- Project development – Applicants send in their project idea (Concept note). They will then receive continuous advice from a RVO adviser on their project idea.
- Grant application – Applicants submit their project proposal, together with the subsidy application. The foundation assesses their application.
- Implementation and follow-up – Applicants’ grant application has been approved. They can carry out the project with the support of RVO.nl.
