Sahee Foundation is seeking applications to fund projects aiming at improving the living conditions of underprivileged people in Swaziland and in Peru in a sustainable way.
Sahee supports projects which are in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the UN. However, they further maintain a strong focus on supporting projects in sustainable agriculture as they have a direct influence on the two first SDGs: Eradication of Poverty and Hunger.

Sahee focuses especially on projects in the fields of
- Education
- Environmental Protection
- Health
Principles
- Sustainability for agriculture, health, education and environment.
- Selecting its local partners and strives for a long-term cooperation with them. Partners are either regional organisations that are locally well integrated or local groups launching a development project.
- Supporting projects having a limited duration.
- Promoting rather small projects that envision autonomous continuation – and possibly expansion – by the beneficiaries.
- Evaluating the supported projects at regular intervals.
Eligibility Criteria
Sahee considers applications for funding of projects, subject to availability of funds, under the following conditions:
- Applicants:
- local organisations (e.g., NGOs)
- local groups in collaboration with a local organisation
- Location of Projects and Domicile of Applicants:
- Swaziland
- Peru
- Projects:
- aim at a sustainable improvement of living conditions of underprivileged people
- comply with the aims of sahee (agriculture, health, education, environment)
- have a firm footing in the local population
- have a limited duration
- are small projects envisioning autonomous continuation – and possibly expansion – by the beneficiaries.
