The Sand Hill Angels Charitable Fund is accepting applications for its Grants to support non-profit organizations which improve lives and the world live in.
SHACF provide funding for emerging non-profit organizations that help others on their road to success. SHACF hope this support promotes a world that is healthy, clean educated and sustainable. Their areas of focus include health, environment, human rights, education, and wildlife protection.
Funding Information
- Grant amounts are $1000-$5000 per organization.
Eligibility Criteria
- Each year grants are awarded twice a year, July and December. In the months preceding the awards, applications are received and reviewed by the Fund process. Typically, there are more applicants than the number of grants that can be awarded while all organizations are usually worthwhile making decisions difficult.
- Non-profit organizations may apply at any time during the year and will be entered into the process for that period.
- The application is an online submission. Please have all the information you’d like to have considered at hand as the current application doesn’t allow re-entry into the application. Separate documents can be submitted via email once the online application is complete and submitted.
- Applicants will be required to provide information about their organization, the nature of the request, 501(c)(3) Tax Id number, financial status, organizational leadership, and references. Third-party charitable organization reviews from sites like Charity Navigator and GuideStar will also be considered as helpful information.
- Educational groups and schools will be asked to provide additional information about teacher credentials, curriculum, numbers of students served and academic effectiveness.
- After your application is submitted, they will schedule an appointment and talk with you about your organization and application, request any further details needed, and explain more about us and the process they follow.
- During the month before the grants are awarded, all the applications and information will be reviewed by the Fund Trustees and voting members.
- Fund donors at a certain level are eligible to participate in the final vote and these votes will determine the grant recipients and the level of grant award.
- All applicants will be notified by the end of the month in which grants are awarded about any grant they might be awarded.
