Deadline: 30-Nov-22
The CSA Singapore has announced the applications for Cybersecurity Co-Innovation and Development Fund that aim to catalyse the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions to meet national cybersecurity and strategic needs, with the potential for commercial application.
The Cybersecurity Industry Call for Innovation (CyberCall) enables companies to innovate on cybersecurity challenges put out by Critical Information Infrastructure and strategic stakeholders in Singapore. To uplift Singapore’s cybersecurity landscape, the CyberCall aims to:
- Catalyse the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions to meet national cybersecurity and strategic needs;
- Develop a vibrant local cybersecurity ecosystem through the building of advanced cybersecurity capabilities, as well as growing the pipeline of local talent;
- Identify and articulate mid to long term cybersecurity challenges to encourage the trial and adoption of novel solutions
Areas
- This year’s CyberCall is looking for solutions in the following areas:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) for cybersecurity
- Cloud security
- Internet of Things (IoT) security
- Operational Technology (OT) security
- Privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Open Category.
Challenges
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) for cybersecurity
- CS01: End-to-End Normalised Threat-based Cybersecurity Risk Management System
- Develop a platform or tool to support end-to-end, threat-based cybersecurity risk management that assist in threat modelling and uses data from existing IT and security tools.
- Cloud security
- CS02: Automated Governance of Users’ Permissions in Multi Cloud Environment
- Develop a solution that can connect to multiple Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) to track and monitor Identity & Access Management (IAM) permissions automatically using User and Entity.
- Internet of Things (IoT) security
- CS03: Automated Prioritization of Cloud Drift Remediation in Multi Cloud Environment
- Develop a solution to detect, evaluate, prioritize, and remediate configuration drifts (CDs) in the multi-cloud environment.
- Operational Technology (OT) security
- CS04: Non-Intrusive Data Collection from Isolated OT System
- Develop a data enrichment layer for critical systems that allow remote response teams, with no physical connection to the network nor physical visibility, to better support organizations during the incident response process.
- Privacy-enhancing technologies
- CS05: OT Kernel Prevention of Cyber Attacks
- Construct a system within Operational Technology (OT) environment that stops cyberattacks at the kernel level. Using data provenance and machine learning, the system should reliably identify and shut out cyber intrusions based on the behaviour and signatures of related events they, in near real-time.
- Open Category
- CS06: OT Threat Vector Path Discovery on Digital Asset Map
- Construct a system within Operational Technology (OT) environment that stops cyberattacks at the kernel level. Using data provenance and machine learning, the system should reliably identify and shut out cyber intrusions based on the behaviour and signatures of related events they, in near real-time.
Funding Information
- Awarded companies will receive funding support of up to S$1,000,000 for up to 24 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- All Singapore registered companies are eligible to participate CyberCall. Overseas firms that are not registered in Singapore must show intention to develop the solution in Singapore shall they be awarded with Cybersecurity Co-Innovation and Development Fund Scheme. All companies must ensure that at least 50% of the manpower employed in the project are Singapore Citizens and/or Singapore PRs.
