The Taiwan Foundation for Democracy (TFD) is offering Domestic Grants to encourage academic institutions, think tanks, non-governmental organizations (excluding for-profit organizations), and other relevant organizations to promote activities related to democracy and human rights, to promote research on the theory and practice of democracy and human rights that enhances the quality of Taiwan’s democracy, and to strengthen Taiwan’s integration with international democracy.
Project Categories
- Activities related to democracy and human rights promoted by academic institutions, think tanks, and non-governmental organizations (excluding for-profit organizations).
- Seminars and public forums related to democracy and human rights, as well as activities related to democratic education.
- Research and publications related to human rights and democratic development.
- Activities that contribute to the international development of democracy and enhance the quality of democracy in Taiwan.
- Other activities that can increase the visibility of Taiwan and help Taiwan to integrate with the international community.
Eligibility Criteria
- Officially registered non-governmental organizations (excluding for-profit organizations)
- Departments and institutes or other official units of universities and colleges
