Objectives
- The global objective of this call for proposals is to enhance the rule of law in the country by raising the intolerance to corruption in the whole society.
- The specific objective(s) of this call for proposals is to address the widespread acceptance of corruption in Macedonian society.
Priorities
- The priority(ies) of this call for proposals are:
- Improving public awareness on the risks and damages created by corruption
- Involving the private sector on the detection, prevention and fight against corruption
- Improving the involvement of civil society and the business sector in the fight against corruption
- Improving public acknowledgment on the competences of the SCPC and its role in the fight against corruption and building integrity
Funding Information
- The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is EUR 1,000,000.
- Size of grants
- Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
- minimum amount: EUR 200,000
- maximum amount: EUR 250,000

Duration
- The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 24 nor exceed 36 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Lead applicant
- In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person and
- be non-profit-making and
- be a specific type of organisation such as: civil society organisations i.e. organisations considered as non-state, non-profit making actors operating on an independent and accountable basis. They include: non-governmental organisations, professional associations, employers’ associations and trade unions (social partners), chambers of commerce, universities and any other nongovernmental associations and independent foundations,
- be established in a country eligible under the IPA III regulation; i.e. EU Member States, members of the European Economic Area and Neighbourhood partner countries and territories covered by NDICI
- be registered at least 2 years before the call is launched
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- Co-applicant(s)
- Co-applicants participate in designing and implementing the action, and the costs they incur are eligible in the same way as those incurred by the lead applicant. Co-applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria as applicable to the lead applicant himself.
