The Tesco Stronger Starts Cooking for All Fund offers grants for organisations and schools educating children and young people on the importance of healthy food and how to cook.

- With 150 grants of £1,000 each available.
What types of projects can apply to Cooking for All?
- The type of things they would expect to fund are:
- Food growing projects e.g. allotments/polytunnels that can then be used in lessons/breakfast clubs etc.
- Food education projects e.g. after-school family cooking clubs
- Producing cookbooks/food educational materials for children to take home and use
- Cooking equipment e.g. knives/chopping boards/smoothie makers to deliver project
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a not-for-profit organisation that supports local communities with a priority on supporting children up to the age of 16, with access to food, education regarding food and information on cooking and preparing healthy meals. Organisations that are eligible to apply are:
- Schools
- Nurseries
- Youth groups
- Charities
- CICs more than 2 years old
- Brownie/Guide/Scout groups
- Organisations must be UK-based to be eligible;
- To satisfy eligibility criteria:
- Any applying group (not schools) must be constituted and will need to submit a copy of their governing document (constitution, terms of reference, memorandum of understanding as part of the application process;
- The name of the applicant organisation must match that on the governing document;
- The governing document must contain a satisfactory winding up/dissolution clause.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Groups that are ineligible
- Projects that support over 16’s
- Individuals
- Community Interest Companies (CICs) limited by shares
- Community Interest Companies (CICs) that are less than two years old
- Profit-making organisations
