Deadline: 21 March 2017
The British Embassy in Juba is accepting concept notes for the financial year 2017-18 of its Human Rights projects under Global Britain Fund with an aim to lift the capacity of governments and civil society to promote and protect human rights.
The Human Rights element of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s (FCO) Global Britain Fund, previously known as the Magna Carta Fund, is the FCO’s dedicated annual fund supporting human rights and democracy work overseas.
Objectives

The project are seeking proposals that seek to increase accountability and transparency for Human Rights abuses, including through more effective monitoring and reporting. This could include monitoring and reporting on Government action to address these abuses.

The fund will consider proposals up to the value of £100,000 (GBP).

Bids will be assessed against the following criteria:
- value for money
- alignment with HRDP Strategy and FCO’s Foreign Policy Priorities
