The foundation would like to hear from applicants if they are seeking funding for a project that could build bridges between people, put something right in the community, change attitudes, improve the environment, or make a real difference to people’s lives.

The foundation makes grants to young people or groups of young people aged 11-18 in schools, colleges and youth organisations.

Grants are awarded to fund adult-supervised projects that are for the public benefit and have a community-enhancing purpose. Such projects are likely to focus on reparation, reconciliation, peace building, restorative justice or care for the local environment.

The Burns Price Foundation was set up in 2015 by Peter and Dee Price with the single aim of “changing lives for good”. They seek simply to encourage young people to volunteer to undertake a project, funded by the Foundation, that will change for good not only the lives of those in the community where the project is located but also their own life too.
