The Dutch Jewish Humanitarian Fund (JHF) is currently seeking applications for its grant program to enhance Jewish life in Central and Eastern Europe.
Objectives
JHF supports organizations and projects:
- Building and ensuring the continuity of Jewish communities, in fields including culture, knowledge transfer and enhancement of the non material infrastructure
- Facilitating Jewish education
- Promoting mutual respect between people
Grant Information
The maximum grant request shall not exceed € 10,000 Euro.
Eligibility Criteria
- Local organizations in Central and Eastern Europe have a strong preference.
- Organizations should not be registered in the Netherlands or other jurisdictions.
- Organizations cannot have its activities in Israel and the Dutch Jewish community.
- It is not the JHF’s intention to approve applications for whose primary purpose is to disburse direct or indirect grants.
- Applications submitted by umbrella organizations will only be considered if the proposed project is implemented by the umbrella organization itself.
- Project grants requested by private institutions / organizations will receive preference about Project grants requested by public or semi-public institutions / organizations.

Eligible Countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, and the three Baltic States: Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
