LEGO Foundation aims to make children’s lives better – and communities stronger – by building a future in which Learning through Play empowers children to become creative, engaged, lifelong learners.
Purpose
Through this grant, the LEGO Foundation wishes to systemically reach children aged 6-12 by improving opportunities for Learning through Play (LtP) with Technology (Creative Coding, Robotics, and Making / Tinkering).
Expected Outcomes
- LtP with Technology and approaches to LtP with Technology are recognized and visible in supporting the delivery of the formal curriculum.
- LtP with Technology is integrated into a range of teacher professional development activities.
- Teachers are using approaches to LtP with Technology effectively within their classrooms.
- School leaders are effectively engaged to create strong enabling environments for the implementation of LtP with Technology.

They expect to award up to five grants up to USD$4 million each
