Deadline: 20-Feb-23
The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund is inviting applications for its Small Grants Programme.
The grant making programmes aim to support community projects, complement the work of His Majesty King Charles III’s core charities – The Prince’s Trust and The Prince’s Foundation – and promote His Majesty’s charitable interests.
Themes
- Heritage & Conservation: They fund heritage conservation and restoration projects at places of worship. They are interested in funding non-capital projects which improve the fabric of buildings for the benefit of local communities.
- Education: They welcome applications from organisations that seek to deliver education and training projects outside of The Prince’s Trust scope and age-range including support for people with special educational needs.
- Health & Wellbeing: Community projects and initiatives which support the physical and mental health and wellbeing of people with disabilities or life limiting illnesses in disadvantaged communities.
- Social Inclusion: Community and art projects that aim to relieve poverty, loneliness and other social issues or support the welfare of the elderly, veterans and interfaith cohesion.
- Environment: Community environmental projects (including the circular economy), economic sustainability initiatives and conservation of the natural environment.
- Countryside: They welcome applications from organisations working to transform lives and improve living conditions in rural communities.
Eligibility Criteria
- They will consider applications from UK registered non-profit organisations with an income of up to £1 million. Please note that to maximise impact and to meet their charitable objectives, PWCF may from time to time invite organisations with an income of more than £1 million to apply for funding during a closed grant round.
- Applications will be considered from organisations that have completed at least two years of activity and are able to submit accounts or income and expenditure statements.
- Where applicable, PWCF will offer a single or multi-year small grant award.
