The Tradies Sustainable Futures Grants Program promotes environmental change and sustainable development in and beyond the community.
Categories
- Nurturing Local Biodiversity e.g. bushland regeneration, habitat restoration and providing habitats (such as nesting boxes) for local wildlife.
- Energy Efficiency e.g. solar installations, energy efficient lighting solutions such as LED globes or window covers, efficient heating & cooling solutions etc.
- Waste Management e.g. recycling projects, composting and worm farm projects, repair and upcycling materials etc.
Funding Information
- The grant pool for 2025 will be $35,000 and there is no minimum or maximum amount that can be applied for. If your project will only cost $200 – apply for $200! If you have a grand plan that will cost $20,000 – apply for $20,000!
Who can apply?
- Tradies invites high schools and primary schools, P & C Associations, early learning centres and community organisations to apply for funding for environmental projects.
- The Tradies Sustainable Futures Grants will not fund substitute teachers or wages, training fees or consultants. The more your students/children/community are involved, the more likely your project will succeed long term!
- Whether your previous application was successful or unsuccessful, you can apply as many times as you like.
