The Support Foundation for Civil Society is accepting applications for the Turquoise Coast Environment Fund Grant Program to reduce and improve the pressure on coastal areas and ecosystems affected by earthquakes and focus on biodiversity, ecosystem services, agricultural productivity, water and waste management, marine areas and coastal land protection will be prioritized.
Priorities
- Project Ideas are expected to include at least one of the seven main priority areas detailed below:
- Promoting sustainable food systems
- Ecosystem-based management approaches for biodiversity conservation
- Local economic development and alternative livelihoods
- Legal and institutional support and strengthening of local NGOs
- Protection of nature and wildlife
- Soil restoration and regenerative agriculture
- Coastal restoration
- Climate solutions
Funding Information
- The total amount of grants to be distributed to NGOs within the scope of the TCEF grant program is at least 2,750,000 TL.
- Applicants can request a maximum of 550,000 TL from the grant program.
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations with legal personality that meet the application criteria below can apply for the grant program:
- Associations, foundations, cooperatives and other non-profit organizations actively working in Adana, Hatay and Mersin (Organizations headquartered in other provinces can apply with the activities they will carry out in these provinces),
- Organizations that have been established by March 2024 at the latest and have been actively working in the field for at least one year (Organizations that previously worked as a civil initiative and recently acquired legal personality are expected to transfer their previous experience to the application.),
- Organizations with 2024 revenues between 30,000 TL and 6,000,000 TL,
- Organizations with experience, institutional capacity and vision in the relevant field.
