The Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) program in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC) announces a Notice of Funding\Opportunity (NOFO) aimed at promoting social and business entrepreneurship in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region through alumni engagement.
Objectives
- Preparing alumni to serve as ambassadors that promote, advocate for, and advance MEPI program initiatives.
- Fostering MEPI alumni networks and team spirit, and strengthening their ties globally and locally to increase collaboration.
- Continuing to develop alumni as community and business leaders who make contributions in their society.

- Estimated Total Program Funding: $2,000,000
- Estimated Award Ceiling: $2,000,000
- Estimated Award Floor: $1,500,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants include registered U.S. non-profit organizations or for-profit organizations (excluding small businesses) with substantial experience in assistance management of educational, exchange, and grant programs; and implementing civic engagement programs in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
