Deadline: 19 March 2018
The United States Department of State Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM) is seeking proposals from eligible organisations for its 2018 NGO programs benefiting displaced and conflict-affected persons in Armenia and Georgia.
PRM will consider funding only those projects that include a target beneficiary base of at least 50 percent vulnerable IDPs/refugees/returnees in Georgia and Armenia.
Focus Sectors
- Livelihoods: PRM will consider proposals designed to implement activities that will contribute to socioeconomic integration – socioeconomic empowerment of the most vulnerable IDPs and refugees (single parents with minors, households with members with disabilities, and households led by youth and the elderly). For western Georgia, projects should reflect the government’s updated policy on trade that could enable residents of Gali and western Georgia and their businesses to become more economically viable. Livelihoods programming must include a livelihoods competency assessment to evaluate the existing skills and capacities of intended beneficiaries and a market analysis. Where applicable, the program should include job counseling and risk mitigation strategies. Baseline household incomes should be captured to demonstrate quantifiable impacts on family income.
- Gender-Based Violence (GBV): PRM will consider comprehensive GBV proposals, including, for example, interventions that focus on core service provision, prevention or behavior change, and empowerment activities for women and girls. Proposals may also include activities that aim to promote, use, or build capacity around the 2015 Inter-Agency Standing Committee Guidelines for Integrating Gender-Based Violence Interventions in Humanitarian Action.
Funding Information
Project proposals must not be less than $200,000 per year, and not more than $400,000 per year or they will be disqualified.
