The United States Department of State Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM) is seeking proposals for its NGO projects benefiting refugees in Chad, Cameroon and northwest Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Funding Priorities
- Chad
- Proposals should explain how they align with the CRRF, show evidence of coordination with UNHCR to address gaps, and indicate how they align with current response plans.
- For activities in Logone Oriental, Mandoul, and Moyen-Chari, proposals should focus on one or more of the following areas of intervention:
- Protection
- Gender-based Violence Prevention andResponse
- Child Protection
- Education
- Livelihoods – note proposals must include a relevant market assessment and a beneficiary competency/capacity assessment
- For activities in Sila, Ouaddai, and Wadi Fira, proposals should focus on one or more of the following areas of intervention:
- Protection
- Gender-based Violence Prevention and Response
- Child Protection
- Health
- Nutrition and Food Security
- For activities in Logone Oriental, Mandoul, and Moyen-Chari, proposals should focus on one or more of the following areas of intervention:

- Award Ceiling: $2,500,000
- Award Floor: $800,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- International Organizations.
