The U.S. Embassy in Skopje is seeking applications for its “Community Engagement Grants” to support innovative projects focused on community outreach and development.
Community Engagement Grants Program is awarded to individuals and non-governmental organizations to provide educational, economic, and cultural opportunities for citizens of Macedonia.
Project Priorities
Preference will be given to proposals that:
- Clearly explain the benefit of the project to Macedonia.
- Include a sound plan of follow-up activities.
Funding Information
Community Engagement Grants projects will not exceed $5,000, and projects will last up to one year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals and non-governmental organizations are eligible to apply.
- Religious organizations or partisan political activity, humanitarian or charitable activities, conferences and individual trips abroad, trade activities, fundraising campaigns, commercial projects, scientific research or to provide budget support or institutional development for organizations are not eligible for the program.
How to Apply
Applicants must complete the application form and submit it via email with all required information, including:
- A detailed budget
- NGO court registration if applicable
- SF 424 for organizations and SF424I for individuals
