The Embassy of the United States of America in Kosovo has announced the fall 2017 round of the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program to support the development of Kosovo’s democratic institutions and civil society by awarding small project grants to Kosovo non-profit, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and independent local media organizations.
Topics
This round of the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program will be dedicated to projects targeted at topics such as:
- Promoting Rule of Law, Legal Reform and Access to Justice
- Anti-Corruption Campaigns and Trainings
- Market Economy (including fair competition, regulation, and business practices)
- Transparency, Accountability and Ethics in Government
- Free Flow of Information (including support for independent media)
- Public Education and Advocacy
- Equal Opportunity for Women, and Ethnic and Other Minorities
Funding Information
- The maximum grant amount is USD 24,000.
- Grants are made on a one-time basis.
