U.S. Embassy in Managua, Nicaragua is seeking application for its Small Grant Program, which is administered by the Embassy’s Public Affairs Section, to which any Nicaraguan or American individual or non-profit organization can apply for a grant.
The Public Affairs Section (PAS) Small Grants Program awards grants to U.S. and Nicaraguan individuals and non-profit and non-governmental organizations with legal status to support innovative projects focused on community engagement that empower Nicaraguans through educational and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Projects
The Public Affairs Section (PAS) is most interested in projects relating to:
- Promoting economic and business development through entrepreneurism, innovation and technology, especially among women
- Enhancing youth employability
- Development of a bilingual work force
- Democracy, civic education, civil society and community engagement
- Empowerment of women, youth and people with disabilities
Funding Information
Small Grants are typically US$5,000 to US$25,000 and the maximum amount is US$100,000.
