The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy New Delhi invites applications to create a communications campaign and materials based on Education USA’s “Five Step Guide” to help connect Indian universities to U.S. accredited universities and colleges. The campaign and materials could reference Education USA’s “Five Steps to U.S. Study” and include information for universities to facilitate preparation, infrastructure development, and program awareness for establishing partnerships.
The communications campaign would include an instruction guide and short online videos to help in the establishment of partnerships. The guide will inform universities on the respective education systems, the structures, the institutes involved, the regulations and the process to set up collaborations including documentation and approvals required. It will also incorporate data on potential partners and existing infrastructure.
Activities
- Provide “Five Steps to U.S. Study” and other Education USA resources to use as content for creating the communications campaign and materials
- Provide final approval for the schedule of planned activities
- Provide final approval for campaign materials in hard and soft copy
Award Information
- Minimum (“Floor”) Award Amount is $20,000
- Maximum (“Ceiling”) Award Amount is $35,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility is open to all Universities, think tanks, non-profit, non-governmental organizations.
- Individuals are not eligible for an award under this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
- Organizations may sub-contract with other entities, but only one, non-profit, non-governmental entity can be the prime recipient of the award. When sub-contracting with other entities, the responsibilities of each entity must be clearly defined in the proposal.
- Cost sharing is not required for this funding opportunity.
- This award does not allow for construction activities or costs.
- U.S. Embassy New Delhi grants/cooperative agreements cannot be used to fund religious or partisan political activity; fundraising campaigns; commercial projects; scientific research; projects whose primary aim is the institutional development of the organization, or illegal activities.
- For Indian applicants, the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) of the Government of India applies.
- Applicants must acquire all required registrations and rights in the United States and India. All intellectual property considerations and rights must be fully met in the United States and India.
- Any sub-recipient organization must also meet all the U.S. and Indian requirements.
