Deadline: 3-Jul-23
Applications for the Champions Fund (Worldwide) are welcomed from registered, not for profit organisations who wish to improve dog welfare.
Dogs Trust Worldwide understands the scale of suffering faced by dogs all around the world, and they aim to support local organisations, who share the vision and values, to help improve the lives and welfare of dogs worldwide.
In 2023 they are accepting applications that are directed towards improving local rehoming practices. These could include requests for funds to make material improvements to existing rehoming centre/shelter infrastructure, equipment to improve the running of shelters/rehoming centres or to provide enrichment opportunities for the dogs in the rehoming centre/shelter.
Funding Information
- The maximum grant that can be awarded through the small grants programme is £10,000.
Ineligible Funding
- They are not able to contribute towards construction costs of a new rehoming centre/shelter or the purchase of land.
- They will also not fund consumables with this small grants programme. Dogs Trust Worldwide does not fund international rehoming, so, they will not fund improvements to overseas adoption programmes or fostering programmes which could result in a dog being rehomed overseas.
