The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bosnia and Herzegovina is pleased to announce the annual call for applications for transformational local projects for the year 2023.
Transformational local projects are an integral part of the development cooperation of the Czech Republic in Bosnia and Herzegovina and are implemented through a grant program managed by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Sarajevo.
Priorities
- Projects must be in line with the priorities of human rights support and transformational cooperation in Bosnia and Herzegovina:
- Support to civil society, including human rights defenders
- Supporting freedom of expression and access to information, including media freedom
- Promoting equal and maximum political and public participation
- Promoting the institutional construction of the rule of law
- Promoting equality and non-discrimination
- Promoting human rights in topics related to employment and environmental protection.
Funding Information
- The maximum amount of the grant is 500,000 CZK (approx. 39,000 KM), the amount should be rounded. Grants are paid in KM.
Eligibility Criteria
The conditions for submitting requests for local transformation projects for 2023 are as follows:
- The applicant must be a registered legal entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose main activity is non-profit (local non-governmental organizations, local community organizations, academic institutions, religious institutions, organizations and agencies working on local development activities).
- The applicant can submit only one project proposal.
