Deadline: 30-Sep-21
The Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation (BTCF) has launched its Berkshire Environmental Endowment Fund (BEE) for environmental quality in the Berkshires.
Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation launched BEE early in 2000 with a significant grant from the Massachusetts Environmental Trust, matched by funds from a number of individuals in Berkshire County.
Funding Information
- The fund awards grants annually. Once the program or service funded is completed, the grant recipient must submit an assessment of the project’s outcomes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Berkshire County nonprofit organizations, public agencies, schools or civic community entities for projects focused on water quality and related land issues.
- Proposals are considered for new or ongoing projects of non-profit organizations, public agencies, schools or civic community entities. Community groups that are not incorporated may apply using another nonprofit as a fiscal agent.
- Applicants must be able to match the BEE grant 1:1 in cash or in in-kind services.
- Berkshire Taconic does not support organizations which in their constitution, by-laws, or practice, discriminate against a person or group on the basis of age, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation, political affiliation or religious belief.
