The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for “Civil Society Programme” to strengthen locally-led efforts to further democratic and economic reform processes in Serbia.
These programs will focus on fostering and strengthening the connections and cooperation between citizens, civil society actors, the private sector, and the government in ways that can enhance the effectiveness and inclusiveness of reform efforts.

Programs will support civic engagement in:
- Good Governance and Accountability
- Local Community Development and Resource Mobilization
- Philanthropy
- Media
- Civil Society Advocacy
- Rule of Law
Funding Information
- Estimated Total Program Funding: $12,000,000
- Award Ceiling: $2,000,000
- Award Floor: $500,000
Eligibility Criteria
- All Serbian non-governmental organizations are eligible to apply.
- The place of performance is Serbia.
- Period of performance: 2-4 years.
- Anticipating one award per Program Area (coalitions, partnerships and sub-granting strongly encouraged).
