The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through the Regional Contracting Office in Kyiv, Ukraine is seeking applications from qualified U.S. or Non-U.S. non-profit or for-profit Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and other qualified non-USG organizations for funding of an activity entitled “Support TB Control Efforts in Ukraine”.
The purpose of Support TB Control Efforts in Ukraine Activity is to reduce the TB epidemic in Ukraine through early detection, appropriate care, and prevention for people living with TB, DR-TB and HIV/TB. The Activity will increase case detection and improve diagnostics, treatment and care for patients living with TB, DR-TB and HIV/TB co-infection. The Activity will be implemented in close cooperation with, and in support of, the National Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health (MOH) of Ukraine. The Activity will improve the system for TB, DR-TB case diagnosis, including contact tracing, treatment initiation, treatment completion, and improved data reporting, collection and analysis.
Objectives
- Build the capacity of medical, social service, and public health disease control staff to deliver and manage comprehensive TB services nationwide
- Early detection and diagnosis of TB cases improved
- Strengthen all components of the DR-TB treatment and management system
- Support civil society, TB advocacy, and stigma reduction

Eligibility Criteria
- USAID encourages applications from potential new partners. USAID will not accept applications from individuals. Applicants are encouraged to work in partnership and collaboration with local NGOs that have experience implementing TB.
- To be eligible for award of a Cooperative Agreement, in addition to other conditions of this NOFO, organizations must have a commitment to non‐discrimination with respect to beneficiaries and adherence to equal opportunity employment practices.
