The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Rwanda (USAID/Rwanda) is seeking applications from qualified and eligible U.S. or non-U.S. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) (non-profit, including private voluntary organizations (PVOs), for-profit willing to forego profit, and institutions of higher education) to implement health service delivery interventions in Rwanda.
USAID/Rwanda plans to award a five-year Cooperative Agreement to implement the “Rwanda Service Delivery Activity” (RSDA). RSDA aims to improve the utilization and quality of Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH) and Malaria services, in a sustainable manner with the goal of reducing infant and maternal mortality in Rwanda. RSDA will build upon the tremendous gains Rwanda has made in the health sector as well as previous USAID investments in the health sector.
Funding Information
USAID/Rwanda intends to provide up to $49,800,000 in total USAID funding over a five year period.
Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. and non-U.S. non-profit Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), including private voluntary organizations (PVOs), for-profit NGOs which are willing to forego profit, and colleges and universities are eligible to submit applications.
- Faith-based and community organizations that fit the criteria above are also eligible to apply.
