The United States Agency for International Development in Tanzania (USAID/Tanzania) is seeking applications from qualified U.S. and non-U.S. organizations to fund activities under a program entitled “Tanzania Malaria Surveillance and Monitoring” to support the Government of Tanzania (GOT) to reduce the burden of malaria and to move towards the long-term goal of malaria elimination.
Under this Cooperative Agreement, USAID/Tanzania will fund malaria surveillance, entomological monitoring, and drug efficacy monitoring. Monitoring will include entomological monitoring, including insecticide resistance monitoring, and therapeutic efficacy monitoring.

Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. and non-US organizations may participate.
- USAID welcomes applications from organizations who have not previously received financial assistance from USAID.
- Applicants must have established financial management, monitoring and evaluation processes, internal control systems, and policies and procedures that comply with established U.S. government standards, laws, and regulations.
- The successful Applicant will be subject to a risk assessment (Pre-award Survey) by the AO.
