The United States Agency for International Development Mission in Mali (USAID/Mali) is seeking applications for its program entitled “Mali Electoral Support Activity” to advance peace, reconciliation and more accountable governance through credible and inclusive national elections.
Objectives
- Promote informed citizen participation in the 2018 electoral process, with a particular focus on voters who are women, youth and from other traditionally marginalized groups;
- Strengthen public confidence in the 2018 elections by supporting credible, non-partisan domestic organizations to effectively monitor the entire electoral process and to advocate for key elections and political processes reforms; and
- Support implementation of the 2015 gender law by partnering with civil society and political parties to increase women’s leadership and political representation.
- Support political parties to contribute to a peaceful electoral process.

Eligibility Criteria
USAID policy encourages competition in the award of grants and cooperative agreements. In response to this NFO, any U.S. or international organization, private voluntary organization, non-profit, or forprofit entity (willing to forego profit) is eligible to apply.
