The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications from qualified organizations for its program entitled “TB Platforms for Sustainable TB Detection, Care and Treatment Activity in the Philippines.”
Objectives
- Advance adoption and improvement of healthy behaviors of individuals and the community to prevent, detect and treat TB
- Improved TB health care-seeking, detection, and treatment enrollment and adherence
- Increased detection of new TB and DR-TB cases through community approaches
- Deliver high quality patient-centered TB and DR-TB treatment for adults, children and vulnerable populations
- Public and private health care providers deliver quality, patientcentered TB and DR-TB diagnostic and treatment services
- Service Delivery Networks scaled up and provide comprehensive TB detection, prevention, care and treatment services
- TB Transmission control improved in congregate settings and facilities
- Expand local health system capacity to deliver tuberculosis and drugresistant tuberculosis services to targeted populations
- Decentralized governance and finance mechanisms facilitate quality TB prevention, care and treatment
- Data management and program monitoring supports delivery of quality TB services and drives program execution decisions
- Improved access to TB laboratory systems that provide rapid test results for TB (DS and DR)
- Capacity of local organizations and institutions to conduct outreach activities and support TB interventions increased and sustained

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants may be U.S. or non-US organizations; non-profits or for-profit organizations willing to forego their fee; nongovernmental organizations; private voluntary organizations; foundations; institutions of higher education; consortiums and public international organizations.
- Applications from potential new partner organizations that have not previously received financial assistance from, or have not previously done business with, USAID are welcome.
- Individual applicants, however, are not eligible to participate.
