The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) is seeking applications for its “Family Advocacy Program” to assess, develop, and evaluate family maltreatment prevention and treatment programming to support the Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA) Family Advocacy Program (FAP).
Funding Information
The anticipated amount available for FAP in FY 2017 is approximately $2,293,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications may only be submitted by State agricultural experiment stations, State cooperative extension services, all colleges and universities, other research or educational institutions or organizations, and any other contractor or recipient, either foreign or domestic, to further research, extension, or teaching programs in food, agriculture, natural resources and human sciences.
- Award recipients may subcontract to organizations not eligible to apply provided such organizations are necessary for the conduct of the project.
- Failure to meet an eligibility criterion by the time of application deadline may result in the application being excluded from consideration or, even though an application may be reviewed, will preclude NIFA from making an award.
