Deadline: 15-Jan-21
The United Way Centraide North East Ontario (UWCNEO) has announced a call for proposals for the 2021 Community Fund to improve lives and build community by engaging individuals and mobilizing collective action.
It believes in a community where all people are supported and have access to social programs and supports. Their targeted investments reflect community conditions and are allocated to where they will have the greatest impact. These targeted investments support frontline programs and services in communities throughout the North East District.
UWCNEO’s funding review process ensures that donor dollars raised to support the Community Fund are invested for maximum impact. All applications are reviewed by a team of local experts that provide recommendations to the Allocations Committee, with final funding approval coming from their local Board of Directors. The number of funded programs and allocated amounts are determined annually by dollars raised in the District.
The process is open to all qualifying organizations that are aligned with the following Community Impact Strategies:
- Poverty to Possibility
- Basic Needs;
- Income Stability.
- Building Strong Communities
