Deadline: 28 July 2019
The U.S. Embassy Hanoi is currently inviting YSEALI members in Vietnam to submit proposals for the 2019 Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) YOUnified Grant Program.
This competitive program offers grants of $300 to $1,000 to individuals and not-for-profit groups of Vietnamese young people aged between 18 and 35 to conduct programs and activities on the topics of Civic Engagement, Education, Economic Development, and Environment. Applications will be accepted for projects in provinces from the north of Vietnam to Quang Tri.
YSEALI YOUnified will celebrate YSEALI’s launching in 2013 and feature youth-led community projects across ASEAN. The campaign encourages young people to be civically engaged, and empower youth to develop solutions to pressing local, national, and regional issues. YSEALI members will join hands throughout the country to do community services activities, promoting volunteerism and the power of youth in bringing positive change to demonstrate YSEALI’s strong spirit “Never Too Young To Lead.” Projects should ideally be implemented from December 1 to 9, 2019, to coincide with an ASEAN-wide campaign celebrating YSEALI’s 6th birthday.
