Vinnova is seeking applications for the preparatory project for international proposal in health and food.
The offer is aimed at those of you who plan to draw up an application in an international call for a research and innovation project in the field of health or food systems and see a need to strengthen the project proposal and the composition of the consortium to increase the chances of funding.
Funding Information
In this call for proposals you can apply for 200,000 – 300,000 SEK for a project duration between 2 to 12 months.
Activities
Activities for which you can apply for funding
- Funding can be sought to develop the scientific or technical basis for the project by conducting pilot or “proof of concept” studies. It can also be about financing to strengthen business acumen, by performing, for example, IPR analyzes, user interviews or developing an initial business plan.
- Activities to strengthen the consortium’s composition and collaboration, such as meetings and discussions with potential international parties, as well as internal resources to design a competitive application can also be funded. Partner search and external help to write the application itself are not financed.
Eligibility Criteria
- Swedish academia, research institutes, public sector and care providers, idea-driven organizations or small / medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which plan to participate in an international application in the field of health or in sustainable food systems can apply for this grant.
- International parties are welcome to participate in the preparation projects, but only organizations that have a branch or place of business in Sweden can be financed by Vinnova.
- The project team can consist of one or more parties who plan to participate in the same application
Requirements
They will only assess applications that meet the following formal requirements:
- All project parties are legal entities
- Support level applied for must comply with the requirements under section 5
- The application must contain all mandatory appendices and these must be written according to a template and not exceed the maximum number of pages allowed.
- Companies seeking funding for more than 70% of those eligible costs, a signed certificate that you meet the requirements for “Support of minor importance” must be attached to the application.
- No other appendices must be included in the application than those listed in chapter 9
- Projects must be planned to last between 2 and 12 months
