Women’s Fund in Georgia is seeking applications for its open door grant program 2018 that welcomes women’s innovative initiatives.
Participation in the competition can be registered and unregistered groups, the main direction of which is protection of women and girls’ rights and issues related to them; The Foundation also supports individual or group initiatives of researchers or artists. The geographical focus of the grant program is the capital of Georgia and regions.
Priorities
Priority will be given to:
- Young Women’s initiatives
- Groups working in the region
- Start-up groups
Grant Information
The amount of the grant amount is 2500 dollars.
Criteria
The main criteria for project evaluation are:
- Feminist Vision
- Orientation on Social Change (Women’s Fund will support social changes oriented projects – such as activities that lead to long-term and visible changes to human thinking, behavioral norms and cultural values)
- Innovation
Ineligible Projects
Women’s Fund will not fund the following types of projects:
- Projects of economic nature
- Services to oriented services (if it does not apply to marginalized groups that are discriminated against by several forms)
- If the budget or budget of the Women’s Fund is a budgetary budget or its budget
- If the project is anti-Semitic, racist, homophobic, fundamentalist, xenophobic and sexist
- If the Project Sab Olo Beneficiaries are not women
- If the applicant has a failed / problematic project funded by the Women’s Fund
- In case of incomplete application
