Women’s Fund in Georgia has announced a grant competition “Promotion of Feminist Movement in Georgia”, whose financial support is supported by the Women’s Fund of the Fund.
The grant program aims at strengthening of women and facilitating the development of feminist movement. Program Women’s groups or women’s rights activists will enable the following interventions:
- Feminist Educational Initiatives (Workshops, Trainers Training, etc.)
- Advocacy of legislation and policy
- Feminists, women’s rights activists, collective initiatives of women’s organizations / groups and increase their capacity
- Creative initiatives, the development of women’s movement and the challenge of change
Grant Information
Maximum amount of grant amount is 5000 USD. The duration of the projects is 6-8 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Participation in the grant competition can form women’s formal and informal groups (registered NGOs and initiative groups) and networks, from the capital and regions of Georgia.
- Women’s Fund will support projects within the competition:
- Women carrying out
- whose direct and final beneficiaries are women
- Priority will be given to coalition projects.
