As part of activities promoting World Hearing Day, the World Hearing Forum (WHF), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Coalition for Global Hearing Health (CGHH) invite proposals for WHF-CGHH Small Grants for World Hearing Day 2024.
The World Hearing Day 2024 will be observed on March 3, 2024 with the theme “Changing Mindsets: Ear & Hearing care for All, let’s make it a reality”. World Hearing Day 2024 will highlight the importance of changing mindsets about deafness and hearing loss within civil society and healthcare professionals.
Funding Information
- As part of this program, organizations can apply for a grant of up to $800 USD to cover expenses related to World Hearing Day activities.
- A maximum of 50 grants will be provided based on recommendations made by a selection panel.
Criteria
- Take place on or close to the World Hearing Day (3 March 2024)
- Focus on the theme: “Changing Mindsets: Ear & Hearing Care for All, let’s make it a reality!”
- Target the general population and/or policymakers to raise awareness about hearing loss
- Use WHO awareness materials for the day
- Have measurable outcome(s)
- Provide details of the host organization/institution or the organizer
- Photos must include a signed declaration of consent from recognizable persons in the photographs
- If reports are submitted by March 15, grantees will receive up to $800 USD by 31 March 2024. Grant payments will be delayed for those that submit reports late.
