For this very reason, his birthday, January 12, is celebrated as the National Youth Day in India.

Youth is a most important pillar of our society. They aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow – they’re making huge changes to the world around them, right now. Among all the major countries of the world, India is the one with maximum young population.

Indian youth belongs to the different socio-cultural background and are more seen to embrace the issues directly affecting them. They play a major role in the Indian society and are taking up initiatives to make India more steady and prosper.

Young minds generate more fresh and innovative ideas towards India’s progress. Therefore many Indian NGOs prefer to work with the youth and for the youth to bring about positive changes in the society.

These NGOs have succeeded in raising the spirit of voluntarism and social service among Indian youth. Now we can observe numerous youngsters has come up and join hands with NGOs and is taking up initiatives, launching campaigns with the philanthropic motives of the non-governmental organization.

There are many NGOs who are running certified programs, grant programs, fellowship and scholarship programs for the youth to motivate them and make them capable of resolving issues prevailing in the society.

Several international and National organizations are also supporting Indian youth-based NGOs as they believe in youth power and know their importance in nation building. Funding is being provided by these organizations on a regular basis to help NGOs in achieving their objectives.

Therefore we have compiled some open opportunities for the year 2019 to benefit Indian NGOs and youth:
