Are you transforming education or combating the climate crisis? OYW are looking for young leaders who are using technology and innovative ways to transform education in their communities or counties, creating innovative solutions to combat the climate crisis and safeguard nature and between the ages of 18-30.

Are you a young leader working to tackle the harmful consumption of alcohol and build positive social spaces? The One Young World is excited to announce its Pernod Ricard Scholarship to identify and connect an interdisciplinary team of 10 committed young leaders who are working to build positive social spaces and tackle harmful drinking and its wider impacts in their countries and communities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You are eligible for the Leading Scholarship if you:
    • Are between the ages of 18 – 30
    • Have an evidenced commitment to delivering positive change
    • Demonstrate capacity for leadership
    • Are addressing key local and/or global issues in your work
    • Have a track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas
  • Most delegates are between the age of 18 and 30. The One Young World team will consider applications from those who are older than 30, pending demonstration of appropriate personal impact, initiative, and willingness to engage. They are not able to accept applications from those who will be aged under 18 at the time of the Summit.

The One Young World is thrilled to invite applications for the Sandoz Scholarship Program to support young leaders who are tackling systemic barriers to healthcare access or creating innovative solutions to promote equitable access to healthcare and medication in their communities, countries, or the world at large.

Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship [A full scholarship to attend the Summit]

Are you building a brighter future for vulnerable people? The One Young World is thrilled to invite applications for its Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship Program allowing 25 young leaders working on prevention-focused mental well-being projects, adaptation-focused climate resilience projects or projects enabling social equity through education, employability or entrepreneurship solutions to participate in the One Young World Summit.

They are looking for young leaders who are:

  • empowering vulnerable youth through education, training, and promoting entrepreneurship
  • developing initiatives to improve the mental wellbeing of young people
  • supporting communities to adapt to climate change and building climate resilience

Benefits

  • Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany from 3 – 6 November.
  • Access to additional scholarship programming organised by Z Zurich Foundation. This programming is likely to include pre and post-One Young World Summit sessions, including opportunities to meet and learn with the wider Z Zurich Foundation delegation, and an impact-focused development day pre-Summit.

Are you an Afro-descendant leader aged 18-30, who is leading an innovative and impactful initiative in Latin America or the Caribbean?Apply now for the Ilia Calderón Scholarship 2025! With the support of their Counsellor Ilia Calderón and the Jang Calderón Family Foundation, the scholarship will provide two young leaders with fully-funded access to the One Young World Summit Munich, 2025.

  • Hotel accommodation in a private room between 2 – 6 November 2025.
  • The cost of travel to and from Munich (economy class).
  • Domestic travel costs to the airport to take the international flight (economy class).
