Let’s Celebrate ‘2019 International Day of Education’ with these Top Funding Opportunities on Education

On 24 January 2019, the world will be celebrating “International Day of Education” for the very first time with an aim to improve standards of education for the betterment of the society. The theme of this day is “Education for Peace and Development”.

Education has always been an important element for the development of an individual. It widens the horizon of one’s mind. Education has always been touted as one of the most powerful tools we can implement in our global efforts to promote world peace and for the safe environment.

Education offers children a ladder out of poverty and a path to a promising future. But about 265 million children and adolescents around the world do not have the opportunity to enter or complete school. More than a fifth of them are of primary school age.

Therefore, there are many small and big non-governmental organizations dedicated towards improving education in various fields. There are several international organizations and foundations which are helping these NGOs and other charities in achieving this noble task.

Every year these organizations and foundations release their funding call with an aim to support the objectives of the NGOs working in the field of education. Therefore we have compiled a list of open opportunities on education for NGOs to apply.
