International Youth day is celebrated each year on 12th August 2016 and its theme for this year is “The Road to 2030: Eradicating Poverty and Achieving Sustainable Consumption and Production”.
According to United Nations, this year’s Day is about achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It focuses on the leading role of young people in ensuring poverty eradication and achieving sustainable development through sustainable consumption and production.
Youths today are the future of a country. The goal of positive youth development is not merely restricted to surviving in the face of adversity but actually growing throughout life.
