Deadline: 01-Dec-2025
The Czech Challenge Fund 2025 Program has officially opened for applications, offering an exciting opportunity for organizations seeking to make a sustainable impact in developing countries.
Managed by the United Nations Development Programme in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the fund supports innovative projects that address key development challenges while advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
Applicants can receive up to USD 40,000 to implement their projects in one of six partner countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Georgia, Moldova, and Zambia. The fund aims to support creative and practical solutions that can bring measurable social, economic, or environmental benefits to communities in these regions.
The call is open to a wide range of applicants, including private sector companies, universities, research institutions, and non-profit organizations. By welcoming such diverse participants, the programme encourages collaboration between academia, civil society, and business, recognizing that sustainable change often comes from cross-sectoral partnerships and shared innovation.
The Czech Challenge Fund continues to be a vital platform for connecting Czech expertise with global development needs. It allows organizations to pilot ideas, test new technologies, and collaborate with local partners in developing contexts. Beyond financial support, the fund provides an opportunity to build international partnerships and contribute directly to the global effort for a fairer, more sustainable future.
For innovators and institutions ready to turn their ideas into real-world impact, this year’s Czech Challenge Fund presents a meaningful chance to transform creativity into action and deliver solutions that make a lasting difference.
