Voice is seeking applicants for its Nigeria Influencing Grants in order to strengthen their lobby and advocacy capacities and amplify the voice of marginalised and discriminated groups.
Thematic Areas
- Improved access to (productive) resources (finance, land and water) and employment
- Improved access to social services, health and education in particular
- Space for political participation
Funding Information
Nigeria Influencing grants range from €25,000 to €200,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The lead-applicant (where application is by a consortium) registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.
- The applicant/co-applicant(s) (where application is by a consortium) is an organisation which has core values of Voice being the equal rights for every human being regardless of gender, ethnicity, religious belief, disability, sexual orientation, social class and age.
- Target Beneficiaries
- Women facing exploitation, abuse and/or violence
- People Living with Disability
- While providing innovative ways to address issues affecting one or more of the following groups:
- Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people
- Age-discriminated vulnerable groups, notably the young and elderly
- Ethnic minorities
- Projects that describe effective intersectionality with more than one target group stand a better chance of being funded.
