Apply now for the Waste Management Grant Project to improve waste management practices.
The Project is aimed at providing equipment to upgrade or enhance existing waste management facilities. The requested equipment will be procured by the Bank and delivered to the selected recipients.
The project funded by the Waste Management Grant Project should be conducted in Maldives, aimed at addressing issues faced by the established Waste Management Centers in the communities. Project should contribute to sustainable waste management solutions, protect natural resources, promote recycling, and enhance the quality of life within the local community.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for the Project, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Only legally registered non-governmental organizations can apply.
- Individuals, government, and business entities are not eligible.
- Employees of Bank of Maldives and their immediate family members are not eligible. For the Purpose of this section, Immediate family members are Mother, Father, Siblings.
- In cases where approval/permits from other entities (such as a parent entity or subsidiary entity) is required, applicant should discuss the Project with the responsible body prior to submission of application and obtain the relevant written approvals.
- Applications aimed at promoting any corporate organization or political activities will not be accepted.
